In 1976 a group of residents banded together from

the group became an organization and has seen many forms of structured
presence, the mission remains the same: the protection of community through
knowing and working with neighbors, businesses, police and government to
improve the overall conditions of a community which has expanded from Linden
Place to Linden Court, 14th Street, Maryland Avenue, 11th=

The LNA leaders understand that in today’s world it is not
always possible to attend meetings, but many share a desire to be informed =
